King Kendrick on new Southern Soul album
Spreading R&B/Soul Music and a Good Time Though Voice King Kendrick was Born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina As a youth, King Kendrick grew up singing in the church choir with his mother and began performing in talent shows. Shortly after graduating high school, he had an opportunity to audition for LaFace Records in collaboration with the singing group he was a member of. Years later King Kendrick branched out to become a solo artist. After years of attempting to break into the music industry full-time, he released his first Southern soul music single in July of 2022. King Kendrick will present a catalog of several distinguished R&B soulful melodies. In this showcase presents Kendrick's new album called "Carolina Boogie" which also includes new release on the album "Southern Soul Woman" and "Side Piece"

Chatting With Sherri welcomes award-winning author, editor and publisher Bill Fawcett!
After writing for the early issues of Dragon Magazine in the 1970s Bill Fawcett became one of the founders of and lead designer at Mayfair Games. He has continued his board and electronic game design work including a number of RPGs and PC games. His first books were chosen path novels for TSR in the early days of D&D. His first fantasy series was Lord of Cragsclaw in the 1980s.
Bill’s historical "Mistakes" series includes It Seemed Like a Good Idea, It Looked Good On Paper and You Did What, How To Lose A Battle, How To Lose a War, How To Lose WWII, How To Lose a War at Sea, and How To Lose the American Civil War. Among his non-fiction books are Oval Office Oddities, 100 Mistakes that Changed History, 100 Leadership Mistakes that Changed History and 101 Stumbles in the March of History.
As an author Bill has written or co-authored over a dozen fiction books plus close to fifty articles and short stories. Bill collaborated on several mystery novels with Chelsea Quinn Yarbro including the authorized Mycroft Holmes novels. Robin West is an accomplished musician, producer, singer-songwriter, and southern soul recording artist. She was awarded BEST SOUTHERN SOUL PERFORMER, and PEOPLE'S CHOICE by the BLACK MUSIC AWARDS 2021. She garnered national attention with her first self-produced single BUMP YO HEAD released Oct 26, 2019 made it to the #25 top 150 independent artist airplay Digital Radio Tracker. Her latest single ANOTHER ROUND reached #1 on the AirPlay Experts/Urban Influencer Southern Soul charts, in July 2023. The album A WHOLE VIBE and videos are on all major platforms. Chuck Barbee is a retired Director member of the Director’s Guild of America, and a retired Director of Photography member of the International Photographers Guild and the Society of Operating Cameramen in Hollywood.
In 1978 Barbee moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood. By then, his work had come to the attention of Academy Award-winning Visual Effects artists Douglas Trumbull (2001, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Blade Runner) and John Dykstra (Star Wars) and he was hired by them as a Visual Effects cameraman on Paramount Pictures “Star Trek - The Movie.” Since then Barbee has worked as a Director and/or Director of Photography on scores of notable projects, including feature films, commercials, TV magazine shows, documentaries, large format Vista Vision & 70mm “ride films” and television series such as the highly acclaimed, long-running comedy series “Night Court,” where he won two consecutive Emmy nominations for best lighting in a comedy series.
In 2002, longing to get back to his roots as a documentary filmmaker, Barbee traded the hustle-bustle of Southern California for the serenity of California’s Sierra Nevada, where he could return to his roots in the Kern River Valley, and begin making “passion project” films about its history. Films include “WILD WEST WILDWATER”, about the Wildwater World Cups, held on the Kern River in 2003; “THE HOUSE WITH THREE LIVES”, about a historic home in Bakersfield, which was preserved and moved to Pioneer Village at the Kern County Museum; “RANKIN RANCH - AN AMERICAN DREAM”, about the 150 year + history of one of Kern County's largest cattle ranches; “WILD WEST COUNTRY”,
